1. This tool needs to be bolted to ground to get the optimal operating leverage. Bolts holding base should be replaced with hardened bolts. It helped a lot to put liquid soap mixed with water before use.
2. I bought this for at-home changes for ATV wheels and tires. Mixed success on the front 11" wheels as solo work was absolutely challenging. It's about leverage and force and stretching rubber after all.
3. Its awesome to be able to do tires at home. But it did take 2 people to put tires back on the rims. Tire demount worked very good and it would be better if it had some plastic spacers to prevent marking a nice wheel.
4. Mounting and demounting are fairly straight forward as long as you keep the demount bar perfectly straight and level while spinning. Tips: You may have to place a cloth between the mounting points of the tool and the wheel to minimize scraping or marring.
5. It got the job done, separating the tire from the rim was a breeze as well as mounting the new tire on the rim. Secure the tire changer firmly before use is a must. Did 8" tire changes, Great money saver.
6. Works really good, just need to anchor it to the floor. It's good for all the tires that I changed on trailers, golf carts, lawn mowers, and more. Saves me a lot of money.
7. First thing I mounted this to the floor in my garage using drop-in anchors and it's rock solid. It could be better if base were welded and a little heavier. Still it is an ok tool if you are careful not to put too much pressure on the bar.
8. Great helper for DIY PPL, It's a tool every garage should have.. not a commercial product , but for personal use... it paid for itself in two dismounts and remounts.
9. Very useful to remove tire from rim. You have to be careful to avoid damaging the rims. I used it on 16in and 17in tires and It worked well. Needs to be mounted to the floor, and requires some muscle to do the job.
